Celebrating Leadership, Unity, and Community Spirit
On 27th October 2025, the Brighton and Hove Filipino Community proudly held the Inauguration of its new Board Members at the Woodingdean Community Centre, Brighton.
The occasion was made even more special by the presence of our Guest of Honour, Cllr. Amanda Grimshaw BEM, Mayor of Brighton and Hove, who officiated at the induction of officers. Her inspiring words highlighted the importance of diversity, cultural unity, and the valuable contributions of the Filipino community to the city.
The venue was beautifully adorned with both the Philippine and British flags, symbolising harmony and shared values, while colourful balloons and traditional attire reflected our rich culture and heritage.
